DENNIS A. DI MILLO Dennis A. Di Millo is Principal of DBI and Director of its Construction Consulting Division. He has over twenty years of experience in construction cost estimating, building damage evaluation, and construction project oversight. Mr. Di Millo has overseen, estimated, and assessed over 3,000 projects in 36 US states and abroad with values exceeding $100 million annually.

Mr. Di Millo has been involved in projects ranging from casinos in the Gulf Coast Region and Atlantic City, manufacturing facilities in the US and England, hotels, multi-unit habitation structures, high-rise office towers, and retail interiors for globally recognized luxury brands. On a local basis, Mr. Di Millo is regularly called upon to assess damage and necessary restoration in elite urban residences featured in nationally known architectural and design publications. Prior to joining DBI, Mr. Di Millo worked as a Regional Property Reinspector for Travelers Insurance where he was responsible for training estimators in industry accepted means and methods for restoring structures following losses, compiling custom unit pricing databases for new construction, restoration, and remediation work, as well as assembling and managing a network of preferred vendors.

Mr. Di Millo has been court qualified as an expert in building damage evaluation and construction cost estimating. In addition, he has provided testimony for numerous depositions, arbitrations, and mediations. His experience in both the construction and insurance industries ensures that he regularly acts in the capacity of appraiser and umpire to resolve property insurance disputes.
