NICHOLAS BENCIVENGA Nicholas Bencivenga is a Project Manager in the Construction Consulting Division of DBI. Mr. Bencivenga began working with DBI in 2005. He has been involved in approximately 75 cases in both United States and UK based assignments. Most recently, he consulted on a builder’s risk claim for a five star luxury hotel totaling approximately $50 million; Mr. Bencivenga reviewed the full delay claim in addition to evaluating damage and reaching agreements on the scope and cost of repairs facilitating an agreement between the client and developers in less than one year. Mr. Bencivenga also acted as lead Project Manager for the St. Landry Parish School District claim for damages related to Hurricane Gustav; the assignment included 43 locations and over 1,000 structures throughout the 930 square mile area. Additionally, Mr. Bencivenga acted as the lead Project Manager in evaluating damages to a 44 story NYC sky scraper. He also was the lead assistant on an Expert Witness assignment involving a Costco warehouse store with claim values exceeding $50 million.
